[Orbit] Epimetheus

Our latest Orbit show is named after Epimetheus the Greek god entrusted with the responsiblity of distributing traits to all the creatures of Earth.

There were some to whom he gave strength without swiftness, some he armed, some had their size as a protection, and others would fly in the air or burrow in the ground for protection. Then he gave them varieties of food. Herb of the soil to some, to others fruits of trees, and to some he gave other animals as food.

When time came to provide man with his qualities Epimetheus had been foolish and distributed all the qualities to the other animals and their was nothing left to give man. So he called on his brother who suggested he give this exquisite collection of musical treats instead which pleased man greatly and put a big smile on woman's face too.

The first Bulleit Sessions gig took place at Maggie May's Basement in Glasgow on Thursday 10 April 2008. Radio Magnetic was there to record sets and sessions.

The Bulleit Sessions continue with a series of gigs brought to you by the Fence Collective and Bulleit Bourbon. The next Bulleit Session is at The Caves in Edinburgh on Thursday 8 May 2008.
