This episode of Run4Cover aired live on radio magnetic on Saturday 12th June 2021 and features a short interview and Belgian 1991 rave mix from Glasgow legend Scott McKay resident of Tin Pan Alley/UFO and one of the founding resident djs of the legendary Tunnel night club in Glasgow in the 90s.
Opening in late 1989 Tin Pan Alley was the first club in Glasgow to play the new Techno sounds coming from Belgium and Detroit at the time. Split across three floors, the club was hidden away on Mitchell Lane in Glasgow and was Year Zero for techno in Glasgow. It launched the careers of Slam, Harri, Funk Dvoid and leaves lasting memories for those who were there..if you know you know..
